Why R U scanning in linear mode Chris ?
you'll reduce sig levels possibly below lock ..

All currently receivable C band channels (on a moderate sized dish) from this bird are RHCP ..and running in linear mode will reduce the signal by approx 3db ..and produce LCHP 'ghost' signals that don't really exist..

Yeah I have just noticed the H+V.

I only have L+R on the gibertini as it has the rain cover on it.

Get yourself one of those ASDA brand lock lid food containers Llew discovered ..
A perfect fit for offset Cband feeds ..and the lid being removeable allows for easy depolariser plate insertion/removal

I've a feeling you are gonna need something a little bigger buddy ..
I'd suggest a min size of 1 or 1.2Mtr ..
