There is a National Association of Broadcasters tradeshow happening in Las Vegas USA this week. A new member to another sat forum that I frequent let us know that Hisp%sat & TVE were uplinking a 4k test channel then downlinking from Amazonas 3 @ 61.0W to the convention.

I know my friends across the pond can't see the sat @ 61.0W but maybe you can see one over there with the same content. I'm not sure what sat they are uplinking to however.

got the 61.0w picture on my tbs6925 card and it displace some beautiful content. Even though my monitor is only 1080P it displays it. It's just a 18min loop of content.

also BT is sending a 1080P HD test channel to the NAB convention to compare HD & UHD pictures. The BT test channel has looped content also but is to my first 1080P signal I've captured over here. our major broadcasters normally use 720P or 1080i.

I included a screenshot of the content. it's not the full 4k UHD picture cause the file would be to big to upload.
also are screen captures of what my tbs 6925 sees.

happy 4k Ultra HD content hunting!

Kevin

That should be the same HEVC-loop that is sent from 30W, 10730V (also in H.264) . There was also a H.265 test transmission on Eutelsat W2A @ 10.0°E.
HEVC/H.265 needs a very powerful computer
