I'm running 5 in 1 software on a Funcard, which I use in a patched Humax 5400. It works well on Seca, Viaccess and Irdeto, but the Nagravision part decrypts only intermittently on the Polish channels. Is this a bug? If so can I fix it?

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 24-Feb-02 AT 00:18 AM (GMT)]Seems to me Wolsty that the nagra' side of things is a bit flakey with some cams. You are not alone in having these problems.

Pretty much what I'd feared, rolf, but thanks for the confirmation. Hence my enquiry on another thread about 5 in 1 on DS9 cards.

I have seen claims for a 6 in 1 card, with Cryptoworks included. Now that would be something..............

A cryptoworks hack I think is yet to be done, but after it is done I think it will be possible to do it in the allcam, cryptoworks been very much similar to seca.

As for the Polish Nagra packet, some channels are no longer there (TVP1, TVP2 and WOT), the others work all right in my cam, although it takes a few seconds longer to decrypt them.
Don't you have any problems with TPS in Seca/Viaccess? My 5400 keeps freezing whenever I switch to that packet.

@wolsty

i am running a 5 in 1 soft. on my DS9 card, using hummy 5400, and it works with nagravision just fine, maybe you should all check the
load of your card and maybe load a new filling (codes) into it

Which particular file are you using Xilt?

Rolf

PS. You might want to change your avatar, as it would appear that an existing member is already using that particular one. You can find a superb selection at www.gifs.net and you can link to them directly.

I think DS9_5in1_2501 might work.
You can get it at:
http://www.thaidragon.com/Index2/Dragons/FTV/SECRET/codes.html

PS: There can be only one BEAVIS!!! :)

Just kiding, but it will be nice if you can change the avatar to other Beavis image because this will avoid confusing people (including myself :) )

OK, guys, stop dropping hints. I'll change the avatar.

I do have problems with the 5400 locking up occasionally, but I haven't yet identified what precipitates it.

I agree, the nagra encrypted channels do take longer to decrypt, when they do decrypt, that is. My problem, however, is that the decryption is unstable, resulting in an intermittent message to say that the channel is not transmitting or is encrypted. The codes obviously work some of the time, so is it the software that's at fault?

Over the past few days I've used Boris 5 in 1 and Fun 5 in 1 and I get the same problem with both.

I'm off to change the avatar. Look for another version of Homer.

Wolsty, it wasn't your Homer image, it was the other Beavis image.

Now I'm panic-stricken or thick or both. What Beavis image?

This one Wolsty http://www.satellites.co.uk/scripts/webforum/Images/Avatars/corn1.gif ......I like the Christmas Homer though, even if it is out of season.

Ah! Now I understand (I think). It's Xilt, not me, who's duplicated the avatar! I was worried for a minute.

Still, I think I'll stay with the Christmas Homer; it's more my style even if it is out of season.

Have a look at the www.gifs.net site Wolsty, there are loads on there, even some animated ones, good for keeping one in reserve.

I had a look the other day, but had difficulty getting connected. I think it was my browser acting the fool, but I'll certainly have another go. Thanks rolf.

Problems again! I followed the advice above and eventually got the Nagravision part of my 5 in 1 card to work successfully in my Humax IRCI5400 for a time. Now its gone again. I've tried both DS9 and Funcards with a variety of files. Currently, I'm using those uploaded by Satkoos. All to no avail. I haven't yet sorted out my antenna to pick up Hispasat, so only the Nagravision transmissions on Hotbird are presently of interest to me. Any suggestions?
