Can someone check a transponder as I'm getting odd results here. 3728H 4200 2/3 8PSK. It's a MUX of Stingray music channels, it locks quickly and scans in perfectly within DVB Dream. It point blank refuses to lock in Crazyscan or EBS, either as a blindscan or by setting the transponder parameter before hand!

Thanks Nelson, it's odd, it never fails to lock and play within Dream no matter how many times I try but just refuses to lock in EBS and Crazyscan. Really can't explain it! Edited to add, I agree, some interesting streams running on this frequency and nice sounding audio too.

Like most of the satellite listings sites Lyngsat is really out of date and incomplete for the more westerly birds especially on C Band. With that in mind I spent a few hours compiling a long list of updates with all the parameters and sent it to them, always nice to give something back as I do use their website quite a bit. Got an email from the owner today suggesting I'm watching another satellite because none of my updates match!

Yep, iv'e had some of that. If i'm not a 100% sure of anything i tend to ask for a second opinion

Funnily enough I replied with a link to the sat community thread on 55.5w so he could could check other scans besides mine if he wants to confirm I'm watching the correct satellite.

I would be able to scan 55.5W but my actuator on my big "C" band dish is FUBAR, I have it locked on the Play Boy channel on 125W, so I'm not going out to move it.

There are not a lot of contributors to the C-Band section of the forum. Probably the larger dish sizes needed for good reception is one reason why there are only a few regular contributors from the UK? Or perhaps there is not so much interest in C-Band anymore?
