i was thinking earlier, i have a dedicated 60cm dish for 28.2e only going into an Octagon SF8008 in the kitchen, purely for FTA channels. what could else could i obtain from this setup (other satellites) if it fitted some kind of multi LNB arm setup and a diseq switcher ...ive used a monoblock before in the early days for 13e and 19e - very easy to setup.

is there something ready made for achieving this?

Somewhere in England (possibly?)!
If you search the forum (and good luck with that!) you'll find people who have tried and succeeded with that - but it's difficult as setting up more than 1 LNB, even a monobloc, on a very small dish is "tricky" (I tried it with a monoblock on the Triax 78cm for 13E and 19E, but finally gave up and set up single LNBs on that dish for 13E and on a separate - an original 1998 dish & LNB! - Z 1 for 19E)

Monoblocks tend to be made for 80cm dishes, the offset skew for Astra & Eutelsat satellites also complicates things. On a multi LNB bracket 13/19/28E is possible with 19.2°E in middle. 19/23/28E with 28.2°E in the centre and a skinny LNB for 23.5°E is my current setup though there's only REBEL that I watch on 23.5°E.

Don't you have a spare DiSEqC motor you could put the dish on?

Check to see that the neck of that LNB will fit the clamp on your dish.

The 85cm dish one won't work well, the 65cm should be OK, if you can find somewhere that sells it.

Another two small dishes :Y

I get good results with a 33cm camping dish on both birds.

I'll probably relocate and motorise it as this won't cost me anything . Thanks all. As usual I start off going in one direction and end up in a totally different one
