The Craig M100- multi lingual translator and pocket calculator in one, using the AMI chip change system

Found it in my parent's loft after a clearout.

Still boxed with instructions (in Italian) with promotional advert from Ring Electric 'The Brainbank', warranty card and tech spec sheet.

Not sure what to do with it, but it is small enough to sit on a bookshelf for the time being.

Got my first calculator in the 70's (a Prinztronic Micro) from Dixons (then a little shop in town selling mostly photographic equipment).

LED display, was thirsty on batteries.

Still have it, might be worth a bob or two now.

Ah, red LEDs.

I really must take some photos of some of the watches I collected in those days.

Bob or two indeed.

I remember when I got myself a HP calculator thingy a few years ago, mains only, had the option of a data cartridge, built in printer, VFD display, lots and lots of buttons, looked like it came right out of one of the Star Trek movies!!! :D

I would still have it today, had I not fed it 240v while the internal PSU was set to 110v... :-ohmy

I wrote a small application on CASIO PB-100, where you input boy and girl name, and "clever machine" will tell you how much they are match for each other (This was about 20 years earlier before such services become available via SMS!) I was asking my schoolmates about 5 cents for "service" :D

Very less people were willing to pay :) - they just account that service as weird one, remember, it was mid 80s then :)
