If you are considering operating a Disecq motor from one of the feeds to the LNB, the Technomate would be preferable for doing this. PCI satellite cards can vary considerably regarding the power available to work a motor; for instance the popular Skystar 2 PCI card may find it hard to provide enough 'push' for certain motor/dish combinations. You might consider the Skystar HD2, which has an ancillary connector that takes an additional 5V supply from the PC to give it extra power for the Diseqc motor. Regarding applications to work with your PCI card, DVBViewer Pro has a good Diseqc 1.2/USALS plugin already provided. Other apps like ProgDVB may necessitate adding a Diseqc 1.2 plugin. Having said that, I don't use Diseqc commands for moving my dish, so I may be a little out of date with the various cards/plugins available now for this purpose. Llew
