My Satellite Setup
42" digital TV + 19" digital TV - Both Freeview
My Location
Cleveland
I hope I'm in the right area for my posting....

I have a 42" digital TV which gives perfect freeview reception using a 43 element outdoor aerial, but I also have a 19" digital TV upstairs in the bedroom, which barely picks up the analogue channels!

I've tried three different inddor aerials with it, and they are all worse than useless, so my question is, could I run an aerial cable from the TV in the lounge to the TV upstairs and get decent reception? The cable would be around 80 feet in length, is that too long?

It's impossible to put an external aerial upstairs as other buildings block the direct path to our local transmitter - it would need a pole 40 feet high to clear them!!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Regards
Eddy

Welcome to the forum Eddy Mathews
There are a number of ways to approach this, however if you are only ever going to want two tv outlets then something like this will adequately do the job but make sure you get some decent cable.
