after new cam

i'am after a new cam for my echostar 3600.
it's knot be up and running from 2004.
what's the best cam to get.

Well really there is only one cam you can even consider and that is Dragon/Trex. As to whether it will work in your stb you will need to check one of the support websites Nobody can offer any guarantees though whilst some channels may be open at the moment they may not be tomorrow. You have to work at this hobby a lot more if you want results. Personally I would spend the money on a patchable stb that has lots of support.

thinks topper. i've seen 2 cam both at £179 + card
but what's a patchable stb.

STB = set top box. A receiver that you can patch means it has software on it that can decode keys.

No it will not........ I am referring to unofficial support as is given with the technomate

i will look into the technomate a bit more and some new cam's.
i've spent a long time looking at the old stuff that's out of date.
and thank's for your help.
i can start looking on the right site's now.
