i have strong reciever need to update software. i found software from their site and
Prepared a RS-232C line and connect to my PC to the receiver, but it doesnt work how can I do it as Pin2 and 3 in the RS-232C line should be twisted

Apologies...I am knew to this. I just acquired a Fortec Lifetime reciever and just joined this site. Upon browsing through I came across the "All reciever master code 2005" . I want to know what use it is for on a receiver? Do I need it for my receiver?

I was curious about this aswell so I've been searching around. There seems to be a number of threads about Master Codes and a good number end with someone asking this question.
I guess if we don't know what they are then we don't need them!

When you have forgott the code for your receiver,you cant change anything in the menu then you will need the master code,e.g master
code for nokia is 1234,for some other receivers 0000 etc...
