I am purchasing 2 tv's for my daughters. They are LCD's with built in Freeview. I know I need to link via main aerial, question is what is best to buy that will link 1 aerial to 2 TV's ?

I have Sky+ and Sky multiroom feeding off 1 dish but guess this does not come into it ?

Appreciate advice.

If you already have an aerial feed into your main Sky box, then you could take a feed from the RF2 on the Sky box and use a global 2 Way amp to carry the terrestrial feed and Sky digibox channel to the other two TVs.

If not, then any two way amplifier in the loft will do the job, I'm presuming that your aerial terrestrial signal is of a suitable quality.

Thanks Rolf.

I do not have aerial feed into Sky+ box, but I can do that. What type of cables do I then need to run from RF2 Out to global 2 way amp then to tv's ?

Just a good quality coax, use double screened "satellite type" cable, where are the rooms in relation to where the main Sky box is?

Main Sky box in living room, 2 bedrooms upstairs.

Is 2nd option easier, i.e. buy one of these:

and position in loft and drop cables through ceilings to tv's ?

Well, the 2 way version would fulfill your requirement PROVIDING that your terrestrial aerial is of sufficient quality to provide a good signal over the entire bandwidth that your local Freeview signal provides.

Thanks for your advice. Before we had Sky the aerial supplied a decent reception so will give option 2 a go. If that fails then option 1.

Cheers
