Amstrad drx100

Hi, i wonder if anyone could help:

I have an amstrad drx100 box recieving free to air channels
recently the box has been "playing up". it keeps displaying the no signal can be recieved error after 5 or so mins of viewing. It has also lost a number of channels which it can no longer pick up whilst doing a channel search??

Could be a faulty tuner, they are known to suffer that fault, or it could be a faulty power supply, the latter's easy to replace, but not easy to find these days...

You might be better off finding a replacement box on ebay, it would be cheaper and easier that way...

you don't see many of those receivers around anymore. They used to suffer with tuner problems as mentioned

Looks like i'll be buying a new box. Probs just go whole hog and buy sky HD. couldn't find a tuner for the thing, but it is 10 years old now, i think its about time to upgrade
