The problem Ive found here with lnbs with red covers is the covers are not uv stable and invariably start to bleach and then break after 2 or 3 years use. Ive ended up throwing several of mine away.

Gibertini 125 aimed at 28e (Golden Media 202+), 19e (Inverto Black Ultra SIngle), Triax td110 aimed at 1w (Inverto Premium)

Thank you, I will try that now since I have chosen LNB: The Golden Media 202+ is permanently installed.
A small shift to the east? from 28.2 to 28.5? Missing over 3 dB..

My Satellite Setup
5 meter fiber dish, modified mti highline lnb, tm5402 m3 receiver
My Location

I would like to assess the results carefully and with help from the forum. We also need to consider that some of the included LNBs are new, others have been used for a long time. MY MTI has been installed on the dish for more than a decade whereas my Inverto Black Ultra (IBU) quad has been in my storage room for most of the time.

According to my measurements, the Golden Media 202+ shows very good results. The results for the IBU quad are on a good second place. For the MTI Highline, the results are a bit disappointing and shows that I was wrong about my assessment. The biggest difference was observed for 11126 MHz V , where Inverto Premium PLL and MTI Highline struggled to lock. Golden Media 202+ showed superior performance on that frequency.

To my disappointment, I would not get a lock on any of the BBC transponders. This despite achieving 88% signal on Golden Media 202+. I am after all far from a pro on satellite dish installations and would be thankful for any advice on to get BBC...View attachment 157459
Thanks for sharing the results of the test. It, however, contradicts recent tests shared by others a few weeks ago especially in relation to the inverto premium pll and the Durline ultra. On improving your signal, you may try the conical scaler ring spoken about, a few days ago here.

Keep an eye on it. Some of my lnbs have been in service at least 8 or 9 years now. The red cover ones have rotted through in about 3. Its exactly the same problems as growing plants in plastic pots that arent uv stable - the plastic goes brittle & cracks....

Sub -10C temperatures in the winter (which happens every 2 or 3 years for a few nights here) wont help but most of it is uv degradation.

Night test, clear sky with CM1.2m, on 8W 12604H .
I like to test on this sat because it's one of the hardest sat to catch and signal move during the day ( almost 10%!)

IBU new : 63% SQ
Golden Media 201+ : 64% SQ
Prenium PLL: 65% SQ
Dur-line +ultra: 65% SQ
...and the winner is ...
Triax TSI 006 : 66%SQ !

Someone give me this LNB with other stuff when I bought a dish.

Thanks for sharing this results. I checked it on amazon Germany and it was described as suitable for hotbird, turksat among others. Such lnbs are good for fringe reception. However, grateful if you can perform another test on both vertical and horizontal signals

Test of the day :
Afternoon, clear sky with CM1.2m, on 8W 12604H .

Got 2 news lnbs from Triax:

TSID and TSI100

TSID is same as TSI006 in performance

1000033046.jpg

TSID : 65% SQ ( 45% AGC )
TSI100: 64%SQ ( 73% AGC )

To be honest, I don't know incidence of AGC, I usually look at SQ.

@humaxboy1 the guy who sold me a dish, give me some lnbs too. Where was an old Triax TSI 006 which I tried and gives me better results than other lnbs! ( black ultra, PLL, Dur-line...)
So I decided to try others Triax lnbs and ... 1 megasat Diavolo :)
And ultimate winner for my test is...
....
...
...
Megasat Diavolo :-applause
This lnb gives me 1 or 2 % SQ more than Triax TSID and 25 % AGC approximately!1000033144.jpg

Thanks ones again for sharing your test result. I however have an issues with time interval between the testing of the two triax lnbs on one side and the megasat on the other. Fringe signals fluctuate a lot so in my opinion, allowing almost 4 hours interval between one test and the other is too long for it to be reliable, especially when the difference in signal equality is that much..

@ymttt Yes you're perfectly right, in fact I've tested the 2 Triax lnbs at same time (15:30) and later I've tested Triax TSID lnb vs Megasat Diavolo Lnb at 19h30
So naturally the SNR with TSID lnb grew up at 66% and SNR with Megasat was 68% . For information, Inverto black ultra SNR at this time was only 63% !

Thanks, its very clear now and this makes the megasat results very reliable.

So now I've finished to test most of popular LNB, so here is my ranking:

1 - Megasat Diavolo
2 - Triax TSI100
3 - Triax TSID
4 - Dur-line +ultra
5 - Inverto Black ultra/Golden Media 201+
6 - Inverto PLL ( Too much fluctuations)

If someone know a better Lnb than Megasat Diavolo, I will test it too

... but for the last couple of years, I've been using megasat diavlo red exclusively because it's the best on the whole clark. The bulleye lnb is also a good option, but it's more expensive than red diavlo x 6. So my choice for 28 e is diavlo.
@Beli1910 The " Bulleye " lnb is suitable for Ku band satellite TV ? I always thought it was only for satellite radio amateur ...

Ok thanks ! So here comes a new challenger for testing

But I noticed that there's 2 output on Bullseye lnb : 1 green and 1 red
Only green output need to be connected to receiver ?
