Just finish testing Diavolo vs Fracarro UX with fine tuning and warm up time respected for 2 lnbs, and it's confirmed yesterday results:
Fracarro equal sometimes Diavolo, but lose some % on 7w or 8w by example and doesn't locked 66e

Definitely Megasat Diavolo ( single v1 in my case ) win against all LNBs I've tested before, from now I will not waste my time with others LNBs :confused

It is very good that we have tests with different LNBs, but it is just as important to mention with which device it is used.
Many receivers although displaying some kind of signal don't know how to read the parameters, especially the S2X extension, or other demodulation.
With these tests, it is also possible to check the ability of the devices to find and lock the last parameters.
I think this is also relevant for the LNBs tested.

I do all my measurements with a Drhd measuring instrument, where all parameters are clearly recorded in the satellite report. Stb measurements are not authoritative, as they have different tuners and different values displayed during the image.

All tuners have varying input characteristics, including spectrum analysers.

On many occasions with large dishes it is worth adding a passive 6 or 12 dB attenuator in order to prevent spurious results from an LNB providing too much gain into the front end.

I have not seen any reports yet where potential overload has been verified by use of one.

I have now run some tests on eight LNBs, including some of the favored types here in the forum like MTI Highline, Inverto Black Ultra Quad, Golden Media 202+ to Silvercrest (Lidl mysterious middle aisle brand). I have to admit that I am an amateur in this field, so handle the results accordingly. Here in my first post I will describe the setup.

I have used my fixed Gibertini 125 aimed at 28,2 E for the test, the position of the dish was not adjusted during the test. I mounted one LNB at the time and adjusted each LNB in the holder as it was connected to my meter (GTMEDIA V8 Finder PRO 2) to achieve maximum Signal and quality. I used 11344 MHz H/V transponders adjust the skew right for each LNB. I did the test when we had clear skies, in the afternoon (6 p,m.) when I expect the signal to be fairly stable. We usually have a drop in signal between 11 a.m. and 2 p,m.

For the test, I measured signal (S) and quality (Q) in the loop mood of the meter, measuring for five different transponders:
10714 H
10935 V
11126 V
10818 V
11305 H

I tried the following LNBs (time of purchase within brackets):
Durline +Ultra single (new)
Golden Media 202+ (new)
Inverto Premium single PLL (new)
Inverto Black Ultra quad (2015)
Schwaiger Single (2020)
MTI Highline twin (2011)
Silvercrest quad (Lidl middle aisle, 2010)
GTsat quad (2010)

@FM_Gibertinic, the lnb you described here as mti is not an mti lnb. I have found the mti highline to be a champion on vertical transponders and very difficult to beat in that department. It is no more on the market. Those who still have it may test it against the megasat diavolo on the vertical transponders.

Sorry, my mistake. The LNB is from MTI, but a different one. I always thought that my old MTI LNB was a highline, turns out that it is likely a MTI Supreme line... My tested lnb vs ad on a Polish.

look at post 77 and click on the link - there are pictures of lnbs that have been tested by satellites with the best results in order.

I caused this model of megasat diavolo single to be purchased on my behalf. It appears different from the other models shown here so far. I am tempted to believe it is more original because that is the model on the megasat website. However, I will wait patiently until it is in my hands and test it against the other models. If any one has an experience with it he may share.

Yes, this is the new 2024 model. I have posted pictures of all 3 models that I have seen, including the one you posted. Don't be disappointed in the future - it has worse results than the older models.
you have a picture of this lnb in post 296, where I said that it has worse results than its predecessors

Too bad for me, but I hope to get a different and positive result with it.

I tested it on gibertini 150. After short tests on a couple of satellites, I simply removed it from the antenna. It may show a good result on another type and size of antenna. Test and good luck.

I don't know if this helps the mix, but I frequently swap between a £1.99 LNB (Technomate 0.2dB basic blue LN:cool: and an Inverto ULTRA 0.1dB LNB. I notice maybe 2-3% signal quality between them, and slightly better dB on the Inverto (in terms of signal quality). What seems to make the biggest difference for me is the tuner itself, On the same receiver If I swap between a FDC and standard tuner I see perhaps a 10% difference (FDC being the worst).

I can confirm that after test with the newest model diavolo ( i ordered 3 lnb ) they appear to give less signal
for example in 26 east, 1.9 east and others concerning the figures of testing in wave frontier T90. I have not
diavolo older editions to test ... lnb like ultra black inverto, or even amiko slim 0.1 they gave better signal.

look back in this thread - I posted pictures of all the Diablo models I found. Single and twin are somewhat equivalent in terms of results. Except for this new single model, which is worse.
