Message: <blockquote data-quote="gibertini" data-source="post: 853267" data-attributes="member: 400745"><p>ive owned a vu duo and uno and a dm800 and on certain txp,s like mutv@10e the linux boxs wouldnt scan the channels in when the TM/DR-HD ones would although granted these were not fringe. the linux boxs dont use the tuners like the TM/DR-HD as these use broadcom chipsets and dont seem to be compatible. another thing in comparison is the AZbox can do 4.2.2 but the E2 linux boxs cannot. from what i can gather its something to do with certain chipsets use certain tuners.  as for the TM5402HD it has a flaw in the blind scan were it cant discriminate on low sr txp,s and puts 45000sr in the data-bank.   if your not interested in the 3rd party add-ons then stick with official F/W</p></blockquote><p></p>
