Anybody else struggling with Art Sports ?

The last couple of days, my ART Sports is only getting about 75% quality, which is causing it to break up every now and then.

Anybody else getting this.

It is not wndy here but just raining not even hard.

Could that be the issue ?

It does seem Art sports card work best in VA embedded receivers as I found out by
placing card in dragon cam in same receiver, got picture freezing/breakup,

returned Card to VA slot, no problems.

Thx for the reply, but i dont think that is it. I think it is purely a signal strength issue.
I think i need it to be about 75-80% before i get no break ups. I have not had this problem before so i suspect it is the change of weather

That sounds a high quality requirement for good reception Paul, and although all of the receiver quality figures are different, my Dreambox works fine at 65% on the ART channels, Channels like ARTE give me 83%.

The transponder for Art Sports is not the strongest on Hotbird by any means so make sure that your dish is fully tuned in for Art Sports.

My signal quality has dropped a bit to 65% (about 5% in the last month) and though the picture is not brilliant it is still good enough.
Rain even if not heavy can affect Art Sports.

From my Manhattan with a standalone V/A cam I'm getting 79% on Art Sports 1 to 6. That's off a 1m dish.

my 80cm was giving me 72% consistantly last month or so, last day its dropped to mid 60s.

It does appear to have dropped, but I think that Paul's problem (on chatting with him) may be either a faulty motor (getting lost), or incompatibility with the Humax HD receiver and CAM.
