Anyone "hot" in PuTTy ?

Have a problem.

Connected OK but the display shows only strange letters, impossibel to read !

Sounds like a earth problem but I checked(and re-checked) all three connections.

(Using an usb-serial cable, Win7 and connecting to an AZ box motherboard) trying to read the boot

Check the Baud rate, if they don't match, you get gobbledygook.

Yes Robbo is correct with that but from my experience other things can produce similar results for example undeer options controlling the connection,
Terminal type string, should be ansi.
Of course each individual case is different depending on what exactly you are doing and the type of server you are communicating with.

Thank´s guys. I can assure You that I been testing all thare is to test but the right one lol

Tested all speed
Ansi and uni-8 latin linux whatever option there is

Still the very same strange problem

What about the number of stop bits and parity?

Yeah, tested many now it is 8n1
