We have been running a forum data sharing ring for folks tracking aircraft with VRS. Its just a bit of fun and not meant to compete with other flight radar sites in any way. For example there arent many aircraft in the skies above me in southern Scotland at the moment so Im looking at the 30 or so aircraft currently being tracked by Llew instead over southern England instead - on my VRS plot :D As I said we are not competeing with fr24, 360Radar or any of the other sites - in fact we suggest you should consider contributing to them in addition if you arent already. Any tech minded hobbyists should definitely consider contributing to 360Radar at the very least. Atm the only active contributors to our forum plots are myself in southern Scotland, @Gerry55 in the Carlisle area, and @Llew who is just north of London. If anyone is interested pm me and I will set up a group chat so we can all swap details. There is no pressure to run 24/7 - you just contribute as & when you like. eg I switch my computer off overnight so my feed is down at those times.
