Can anyone help in tuning an echostar 300? I lost Arabsat with all its channels.I need to retune it please.

Before folks can help you out you need to either fill out your profile with more information, 'retired' tells people nothing about what you have or post details in the of what you have in the thread. Is it a fixed dish? is it motorised? is it multi lnb? monobloc?
Have you checked that your cable from stb to lnb is not damaged?, have you checked your lnb is intact and working? Has your dish moved or been knocked? Is the F-connector watertight with a boot or self amalgamating tape?

Another consideration: I understand that with changes (new satellite/transponder) at that orbital position, UK reception has weakened further.

It is a motorised dish, connected to an Echostar 300 unit.I don't know what is 'lnb' sorry.All connections are ok. I tried to tune it but was unable to do so.

Triple Dragon, Dreambox 8000, Echostar AD3000ip, TBS6522,6925,6983 PCie cards.
Gibertini 1.25m motorised dish driven by the AD3000, with either Inverto BU Quad or Norsat / XMW Ka LNBs . SMW 1.05m + 3 other dishes. Speccy: Promax HD Ranger+

Never heard of an Echostar 300. Do you mean 3000 as in Echostar AD3000ip? Or the American Echostar 3000?

the LNB is the signal pickup thingy at the end of the arm of your dish :)

Not familiar with the Echostar 3000, was used for USA satellite networks. Did you purchase it or bring it over from America?
