Are there any HD receivers, that just work as they should, and have no problems?
haha absolutely no need to watch all, to have them sorted. Isn't it right? Libraries have thousands of books, and single reader does not reads them all, but does this means that they should not been sorted? I have Octagon SF918HD, and this is very DUMB receiver, compared to $35 priced Opticum 4100C or StarTrack SR55X. So far: TM 6900HD=Clarke Tech 5000 Super Plus=Dr. HD F16 firmware is interchangeable, just boot loader needs to be fixed. I also considering Vantage 1100, due to it's size. But I can't found information, does it support C/S over LAN and is it diablo wifi compatible.
