art card and receiver

hi,anyone who has a technomate 1500ci and an art sports 1 year card does the technomate receiver provide information on the time scale usage of the card,and what date it was activated,and date of expiry?
I've tried to find activation details with both a humax hd receiver and a technomate receiver and both receivers say only the most basic details,i.e:card is viaccess that is all it tells me.
I've used the card for at least a fortnight now,i found at times it will sieze up during a live game and say this channel is scrambled,then i change channel and back again to the football channel and it works again,the card says 365j [365 days]on it and i don't doubt it is genuine although acting a bit strangely.

Yes you can. Im not sure if you need a patched receiver to view it though.

Menu - Smart card - Viaaccess - Consultations - Art

Then it tells you the date it was activated and expirary. When i first got my receiver it wouldnt allow me to click on viaaccess, nothing happened. When i patched it it would allow me to click on it and thats when i got the consultations option.

As a side note, i was worried about my card being a fake, i got it from ebay for £120. It also done the same scramble channel thing that you describe a few times so i was worried initially. The menu does say its active for a year though so i dont think you have much to worry about.

To find out go to "System Information" on receiver menu and scroll right to "viaccess".
Click "ok" and a box with "Issuer" appears, scroll to "Consultations" and click "ok" again, and you will see the card number.
Scroll to "Art" and click "ok" again and there you will see the start date and the finish date of your card.

thank you both for the info,i was checking it on a friend's technomate receiver so i'll try what was suggested next time i see him.

friend brought the technomate receiver round today,seems i had put the arts sports card in the wrong way up,it goes chip side down,as soon as i put it chip side down i was able to read the full details about the art sports activation,says it will run till july 2007.
