My ART sports is not working is anyone else having the same problem? Other hotbird channels are fine but no signal on the ART sports channels or that transponder.

i'd check mine but not at home today. is it just saying no signal or aren't the channels on the transponder ?

rescan the tp or all of hotbird

seems to be working on 12015H for me but not on 12015V (was ok yesterday)

It went down on Saturday evening and didn't work all night. It was then OK sunday afternoon for man utd newcastle and arsenal liverpool. But Sunday evening till now (monday evening) it isn't working. It just says no signal and the signal bar is down at nothing. Is it working for anyone in UK at the moment? The problem is it's really hard to track down any information.

Just checked on my setup. Don'y have an ART subscription, but says 65% signal & 98% qaulity on all of them.
I am near Alzira (south of Valencia) With a 80cm motorised dih.

I read various posts about ART going missing for some on late sunday afternoon.

I checked last night when i got home to see if i could get it and it was OK. So i really dont know what is going on.

Hi Everyone

Thanks for your replies, people saying the service is working is just as helpful as people saying it isn't. I am a bit confused as I had the service working perfectly just a few days ago. With these cases the first assumption always has to be that it's your own kit that is the problem. However all the other hotbird channels are fine. When I look at the signal strength of the ARTEURO transponder there is no signal quality at all. On sunday I took the box to a friends house who only has FTA hotbird. I added my box to his system and ART sports was fine. So I assumed the service was back up at that time. However when I got home late that evening it was again not working.

Therefore if it was my kit and not the service then that means my box is setup fine. Leaving 2 possibilities my dish or interference. As I pick up other channels fine I think my dish is fine.

So it must be interference (seems unlikely) or the service. Homesdale says it was working yesterday evening, yet on mine it definately wasn't. So I'm left a bit confused I would have thought if the service was at fault there would be a bigger fuss made on the forums.

Its difficult to know what to do. It's hard to get any reliable information from ART sports and I don't have any friends that use the service.

I had to realign my dish over the weekend as the ART channels were blocking up. I had to move my dish by about 1 degree (can't remember which direction) and then got an excellent signal that was better than before. However, TPS Foot was then blocking up (although other TPS channels were ok). So I moved the dish back a bit until I found a compromise where I got good signals off both ART and TPS Foot.

My GUESS is that they have moved Hotbird2 slightly (perhaps to make room for Hotbird 7A?)

Hi Stu

I have now fixed it thanks to what you said. I assumed because the other channels were fine it can't be my dish, I normally get such a high signal. I moved it a tiny bit and its now working fine. I was aware of Hotbird 7 so I did think when it first happened they were sorting out systems and maybe changing transponders or something but didn't think that it being moved could cause such a difference.

So to anyone else with problems MOVE YOUR DISH a bit.

p.s. This explains why it worked on someone elses dish on Sunday.
