I have a 12 month Art Sports Card (Blue) I activated in May. (This is not a scratchcard) I have recently noticed ART Sports 5 + 6 on the schedules. Does anyone know if my card pick these channels up ?

I have also noticed "Carte Cards" from Arabesque advertising all the channels (Art Sports 1 to 6).

Also are these channels up and running now!

Any help will be appreciated.

Unfortunately, i think that 5 & 6 will only work on cards other than the 1-4 Card. That mucks me up.

OK, so that includes Al Jaz1 & 2, but it's cheap football all the same.

You can easily find a 1-6 card with AJ 1+2 for £120 m8, well worth the extra in my opinion.

I can confirm that I am now getting 5 and 6 on a standard 1-4 card.
At least I believe i am getting it, there is no actual programmes showing but there is music with an ART 5 and 6 logo which is more than i was getting before !!

Can anyone confirm if they are picking up the testcards on the following Frequency's. I cant check now, I am at work and a little intruiged. I tried to pick them up on these frequency's a couplke of days ago......got nothing on one and got "No Access....No rights to descramble on the other" I have an Art Sports 1-4 card.........

Yes same here, am picking up the test card for Art Sports 5 & 6 as well as channels 1 to 4, it's looking good.

wod, got my 12 month card from Alsat for £82, but that was in May.
Have seen them on e-bay for about £70 but can't vouch for the quality.

yeah was thinking about ebay but after hearing about about the cards that would end in august or something i didn't want to risk it.

was all that a load of bs or is it something to look out for when buying a card as i thought it was to boost sales as the member who posted it on here was linked to that totalsat.

For the sake of an extra tenner or so, is it worth it.

At least with my card if something goes pear shaped I will be able to change it, will you be able to do the same with "someone" on e-bay.

As for it ending in August it's just a rumour, as Art have deal to transmit Prem football to about 2009 as least, I think.
Can someone else confirm that.

I have just purchased a 12 MONTH card from EB*Y £87 the seller was
marcelcom.They had a 100% positive feed back there were some cheaper
but sellers had only a 99.2 and also didn't want anyone to see their feedback????
The card is for 1234 and i get a test card on 5+6 , also stamped on the card
is 365J which i presume it means expires after 365 days .

Hi Guys

Just to clarify.

This year you will get ART 5 & 6 which is the former World cup channels on the old Carte Cards.

The new card replacing the Carte Sports Card is a blue ART card (look out for the Al-jazeera logo on the bottom right handside of the card). Remember that the Carte Sports Cards (Brown/Redish colour) are no longer being manufacturerd.

The new ART cards will give you:

ART Sports 1, ART Sports 2, ART Sports 3, ART Sports 4, ART Sports 5, ARt Sports 6, Al JAzeera Sports 1 & 2 and your usual Arabesque channels.

Most football broadcasted on ART Sports 1 - 6 are in english and include the following:

Live English Premiership
(Weekend & Mid Week games)

Live Coca Cola Championship football
Live European Champions League
Live French league
Live Italian league
Spanish La Liga
Live Qatar League
Live Portuguese league
Live African Champions League
Live Eqyptian League
Live 2008 European Cup Qualifiers
Live Arab Championship
Live Copa de los Libertadores
Live Asian Champions League


Majority of football broadcasted in Al Jazeera 1 & 2 are in Arabic and include:
Live FA Cup & Live Carling Cup.

Don't forget that ART also gives you the following sports :
NBA Basketball
Boxing
Tennis
Darts
Snooker
Formular One
Cycling

***There are several ART cards on the market***

The two main ones are the following:

ART Sports 1 - 6 + Al Jazeera 1 & 2 + Arabesque full bouquet
(Blue Card with Al-Jazeera logo on the bottom right hand side of the card and also 2 ART logos on the card - one next to the Al Jazeera logo and the other on top)

ART Full Bouquet (with Sports 1 - 6)
(Blue Card with ART logo on the top right hand side)

Expect to pay between £120 - £179 for the ARt Sports 1 - 6 + Al Jazeera 1 & 2 + full bouquet. Stay away from purchasing any ART / Al Jazeera cards above £179 as its a rip off.

Expect to pay between £91 - £159 for the ART Sports 1 - 6 + full bouquet. If its less than £91 , double check with the retailer if it indeed has ART 5 & 6.

Never ever accept any ART card if it is not sealed as it will definately be a dodgy one. All official ART cards comes sealed.

i just have the blue card with 1 to 4, with them other 2 channels thats mentioned, i would be realy surprised if they could be got with the blue card, obviously delighted, but its a case of i dont think so, i would imagine you would need the new card to get them.

I assume my card is too old. Maybe you have a later version of the same card.

See the banner across the top of the page. Looks like a 7th ART SPORT channel will soon be available. (any arabic speakers out there ???? grateful if you could translate !)
