He wont be a household name but for anyone whos into boxing this guy was a modern legend. He wasnt the greatest boxer of his generation either, but boy did he have guts and heart. His 3 fights with Mickey Ward were slug fests even Stallone could not manage.
He was found dead aged 37 in an Hotel room in Brazil, and early reports suggest foul play is suspected. His wife has been arrested by police, they think he was strangled with the handles of a leather purse or handbag and had head injuries.
