Astra 1N at 19.2E

Tp 50 10729 V
Tp 44 11126 V
Tp 46 11156 V
moved to Astra 1KR

Tp 34 10979 V
Tp 38 11038 V
Tp 42 11097 V
moved to Astra 1L

That is in line with my info, I cannot verify from my side, How are you able to verify ?

I guess that you will have different signal levels for every satellite, but I just want to confirm.

The swaps from one satellite to another and then back or across to a further different satellite is interesting, obviously down to how SES balance load across their birds coupled with uplink operators operational logistics. It makes me wonder if we'll see some further potential changes at 28.2E when 2C moves there but before 2G arrives later in the year.

Also spotted this odd one this morning:

105 - 12.515H Now 12.8dB (Was 5.8dB on 1N PE)
119 - 12.722H Now 11.6dB (Was 4.5dB on 1N PE)

Both where one of the first lot to switch from 1L to 1N but have now switched from 1N to another satellite. Not sure which one as they are slightly stronger than when they where on 1L.

Edit: Must be back on 1L as I think only 1L and 1N can transmit in this band!

Canal Digitaal (from M7) does have customers in Scandinavia and got a lot of complaints about the reception over there.

10729 was invisible even at my sat explorer, now a healthy 14dB

I still can't believe SES ordered a new satellite which didn't at least have some kind of reception across the whole Nordic area. 1N has such a sharp cut off then once you are too far out of the official area you have no chance. It'll be interesting to see what kind of coverage the next Astra 1 satellite will have, but we'll have to wait a while for that!

the 11082h
no signal at morning
before start transfeld transponder from 2c to 1n
signal was 2.5 more then on astra 1m
now 1m and 1n signal cut after 17:00

are you mean new satellite to be on 19.2e ?

Will 1n show bbc and itv channels in portugal using a 1.4 dish and humax hd free sat receiver

No, 1N is now at 19.2E serving mainland Europe as the primary target (19.2E is mainly for German, Spanish, French and Austrian channels).

Yes, but in the distant future when 1KR and 1L retire.

Still the SES center of box shows Astra 2C will only slightly move to about 19.3 East next week.
So not going to 28 East in the near future.

Yes, I noticed that. It looks like 2C will stay at 19.3E as backup for now. SES seem to like shifting old satellites by 0.1 degree these days.
