Just noticed last night that Turkmeneli, 12092V on Badr 26°E was showing Avatar FTA. Turkish subtitles but English soundtrack.

I know there will be a limit as to how many can get 26°E but as the movie is only being shown on Sly Box Office at the moment, I'm surprised to find it FTA. I can't see them running it just the once so I'm guessing it will be repeated. Be warned though the picture quality is quite poor.

It's on again right now.

What is the typical content for that channel? Is there more stuff in English?

I have seen the odd American series in English with Turkish subtitles, but not sure how much of their program content is similar to TNT on Turksat, where the English language programming is quite common.

It's not an easy catch for me and I lose it if the weather goes a bit iffy. Hopefully, it might improve when I get my replacement Black Ultra!!

Why not just watch it on 42ºE (11839V). Should be an easy catch for you, and the bit rate looks a lot better.

Yep, just checked 11839V/4444, on 42E much stronger.

But I shall probably watch it on 26E anyway, as I get it pretty much 24/7 anyway, thanks to the ultra.

No EPG though unfortunately, currently showing some film with Stephen Segal in it, Turkish subs English audio.

Frustratingly, I'm still waiting for my replacement Ultra which the French end of the courier network seems reluctant to deliver. I've reverted to a Smart Titanium but it isn't up to pulling in fringe tp's like the Ultra.

What's wrong with the Black Ultra? And why are they so difficult to get there? I've got a pile of them sitting in my storeroom right now. It's the only 40mm LNB I use anymore.

It wasn't difficult to buy, I got it from Amazon Germany. It's being sent by courier and has got to a depot in a town just over an hours drive from me. Apparently it was out for delivery yesterday but "ran out of time frame" and went back to the depot. If it doesn't turn up today or Saturday I might as well go over and collect it. First time this has happened with stuff I've ordered, usually if the driver can't locate me they ring and ask directions.

I'm not sure what happened to the Ultra. Signal started to fade out intermittently, but when I disconnected the F connector on the receiver to check the cable, then re connected it came back. This lead me up a blind alley as I was convinced it was a cabling problem. However, it got worse when our weather got hotter and failed completely last week. The Titanium I replaced it with has been rock solid since. Maybe just a 'Friday' LNB?? LOL
