I use Shiply for big collection/deliveries. Often very cheap if you are in rush and they fit it in with other jobs.

Thanks for the metioning Shiply... I did not know such service existed and arranged a collection of the 1.2m IRTE dish available on eBay yesterday morning.

I do not think it will not fit into a car. It has been used in my garden for about 20 years. The actuators probably need replacing but the dish and extensions are not in any way distorted. This rig is free standing and does not require planning permission.

Great bargain at 10 times the starting price. The Inverto Quad C120 LNB on its own costs £180 from Satellite Superstore.

I hope the kit gets sold to a dx'er who will bring it back to life. With a bit of time and effort to clean it up it could be a nice setup for someone.

Put the 1.2m irte in the shed for an install next year and get this setup installed. Camberley is not that far from Essex, a jolly day out saaarf of the river into Surrey and home before tea time with a 1.5m/2.0m cracker.

Yes, but everyone is aware of the eye watering mark up from SSS, it is worth no more than how the buyer values it.

Additionally the dish polarmount is of the early 'NEC/Ferguson' type with plain bearings (actually no bearings on some shipments) which makes accuracy of the motor tracking questionable without modification. The feed horn has an aperture set for the 1.5m reflector, the extension panels will offer some additional margin, but the front end will require a different feed to bring out the best of the diameter increase

Gibby OP125 L in Horsham - £20 starter and £35 BIN - looks quite clean except for a bit of obvious (and declared) paint damage to the very top edge, but, and assuming that that hasn't distorted the whole dish face (which I suspect it has not, judging by the good state of the return of the edge), it might be a decent buy.

THAT IS, if, after all those comments about CM's not selling, anyone actually wants one!

Gibertini OP100 outperforms dishes of a similar size because it better reflects signals back to the focal point

The dimensions in the listing suggest it is yet another reflector design sold in the UK.

If you go for the gibby its worth considering the matched feedhorn, you can use a cm. feed as well. i found on my 1m that it made a difference on the marginal channels and more stability in bad weather,although i havent measured it with a meter so dont know the figures % wise!. :) Its certainly...
