Did Lenson ever manufacture a dual optics system ?

No but i'd read the French Gregorian's used a 1 meter solid Lenson Heath dish face, installed one around 30 years ago and that dish reminded me of it. If the one you linked to is not id love to know who made the one you've posted. Curiosity more than anything.

There are a few dodgy 1.8m precision dishes about so he could be right.

of course it is, they want rid of it, and no-one wants it. it will end up in a skip or down the dump - or sold for 50 quid to someone with lots of land and time.

i believe its the old dish that Plymouth University used for their TV channel
