Certainly try AnyVan type places - they are often cheaper than hiring your own van + a kidney for diesel.

+1, agreed.

The other online site that I have used where shippers quote for the job is Shiply.
It is similar to AnyVan where you create a listing for the job and wait for the quotes to come in. I think both sites have the option to link directly to eBay listings?

Not me, I thought you were on the sniff for some parts from it?

Sold for £34.50, dish prices fallen off a cliff.
Gone are the heady days when these CM 1.8m would sell for a decent price.

Decided it wasn't worth bothering with. Good price tho. Considering what I paid last year although mine had the cm polarmount included with 2 now defunct actuator jacks

But what is happening above, gives me an uncomfortable feeling.
It looks to me that it falls under the category "likely to offend", see the terms and rules of this forum.
So my wish is, that it stops.

Now please all staff members, if you think that I am going too far with this post, please give me a ban for two weeks or so.

To other forum members: reactions to this post are appreciated. Positive or negative. But please play the ball, not the man!

Well, I waited a couple of weeks, to see what reactions I would get from staff.
Alas, I got no serious reaction from the staff here.

So to me it looks like the staff don't really mind if a member is offended, don't want to do anything about it, and want that it ends up being covered up. Even when similar interactions have happened before.

I think that is a pity. I don't like such things being covered up.
It now looks like I have to live with this cover-up, and maybe more to come... There's no indication of the contrary, alas.

It's back up for sale, re-listed.
Might have been a case of buyers remorse?

He must have put a coat of paint on it since it’s last listing. Expensive paint at £65.50.

i actually think mine is not performing to its full potential - had a jack through it when i brought it home, I fibre glass repaired, and then rim hit motor a month or so ago, when it hit badly placed elevation jack during travel...so i think if i can get it cheap and he says theres no damage at all, then its a no brainer for me

i have it now! in lovely condition.
got it for 60 (plus van hire)

came with original AZ mount and a stand -= mount weighs a tonne!!! doubt i'll ever need it or use it.

please ignore my comment re wanting a 2m, i get over excited sometimes, yes i do want, but not for a while, and one that can utilise my existing mount, so probably a 2.4 CM. - BUT NOT NOW. :)

Did he say why he never let it go when it was sold earlier in the week?

need to sell my other one now - it will interesting to see if signals improve or not, if not, then at least i can state damage doesnt affect signal, but will sell it cheap due to the damage. part of me wonders if the damage was the cause of fluctuating cband...we shall see. (i doubt it, but it would be a nice surprise)

Well if the mesh was damaged below the fibreglass, then yes, your aquired dish may well be better..

Why not keep one for C-Band and the other for Ku-Band?
Well done with the purchase, nice to see a member get into action and buy another decent dish.
