AHEM!! - Your Sat Setup says you have three dishes! - so I would be very careful to ensure she doesn't find out about the "other" two :-rofl2

Some SAT-related hardware.

Have spent ~4 hours today on the roof (temperature ~- 1*C), fortunately not windy. We removed the SUB, 4 segments, some strength-ribs. One more day and we are done with disassembling.

Another ~6 hours on the roof and now antenna looks completely different. New owner will order a crane to lower heavy parts.

Do you have any pictures and what dish and LNB mount is it with?

Just need a fixed one pointing at 40E C-band.

Ah, the IRTE isn't the best for Cband work, or above ground, I do have a couple of other dishes that will work on a wall though. PM me

1.5m "Gibertini", polar mount, "dead actuator" V-box & quad LNB in Dunstable
Starting price 99p, 6 days to go
- and here is the included note with more details:
View attachment 127729

Currently at £10.50p, a monster bargain at the price.

The LNB is worth a nice chunk of wad on its own considering how scarce and expensive the Invacom C120 quads have become. Add to the mix the galvanised NPRM, the Gibertini 1.5m dish, polar mount and Gibertini C120 feedhorn and it is a very nice system. Get bidding lads, this is a good chance for a real bargain.

£53 now with two "serious" bidders using automatic bidding, and 22 hrs left to go!

Would the Invacom LNB give a big margin of gain compared to an IBU for example?

Haven't any real idea about the relative performance of the two LNBs, but I doubt the difference would really be "that big" because IBU's are generally pretty good in the first place.

Remember, this is all about the total package rather than the individual components.

Hmm. The IBU is of course an LNBF (feedhorn integral). But for sake of comparison, the gain figures are roughly the same give or take a dB or two (~60db).
