Ohh you young'uns

Many thanks for the wonderful pictures. I like the LNB arm mod on the Channel Master there. Will look into getting the AV-Comm depolariser - does it really perform better than a depolarising plate?

I'll just make a couple of replies cos don't want to get this thread too much off topic and get a bollo***, err / telling off.
To be honest CJ iv'e not used a lot of anything else really in the past 15 years or so whilst on c band , i have used lnbf type's briefly but never stayed with them. Iv'e always been very happy with the performance of this set-up and if you have a dish installation thats ten feet or so off the ground like mine, having to get a tall pair of steps out to change plate positions is a pain especially if it's raining :D

Not yesterday, but day before (February 2016 has 29 days, I think :D )

I keep forgetting I am around pensioners, I get me coat :D.

Only kidding lads, I am not far behind scopus :)
Getting nearer to the 'pipe and slippers, club....lol

Jonh
can you post more shots from CM 1.8 feed support arm, holder and polar mount

Ok will do, i will soon start a separate thread re: this 1.8 build.
Basically the 1.8 C/Masters side support arms are still in use but slung lower down than the original position and remain undamaged . This will enable me to go back to original if required.
The lower central support arm has been took off and put into storage and replaced with a one metre long 45mm x 20mm aluminium box section. The lnb "platform" to hold multiple lnb's is a prototype home brew at the moment to see if it will work . A dedicated thread will show a lot more detail as to how it all progressed,
