beaming dreabox

hi guys
need some more help let me explain what i want to do.I would like to conect my dreambox to be beamed around the house like my sky box.
how can i do that.

Ok, then follow rolfw's advice ........... you need to generate RF somehow and his linked gizmo does the trick.

If you don't want or need the entire Triax kit, you'll still need a "SCART input, RF output" Modulator.

Can use the RF modulator in an old VCR if you have one otherwise an external modulator req.

If your DVD player has a built in modulator, which is unlikely, it would have to be a DVD recorder. But do you really want a big old piece of legacy junk sat under your TV, when a neat modulator would do the trick?

The 7020 does have a built in modulator. Most of the others dont.

Dead easy, you take a feed from the Dreambox, depending on the modulator you use, scart to scart, or scart to phono, modulators like the vision have a loopthrough, so you feed the aerial into one side, then the output into the Digibox. Job done for sending the signal around the house.

If you wish to be able to control the Dreambox in other rooms, you need something like the Global TvLINK Plus.

In that case just daisy chain the 7020 into the system like this:

aerial --- 7020 --- sky box --- tv

and tune the tv(s) into the extra input. Its exactly what I do here with my 7020.

Please fill your system in more fully in your control panel - it saves lots of confusion if we have all the info available when trying to help folks!
