I don't think it was a batch problem either as I have heard the same from others. The CI3100 however filled the gap nicely and outperformed other receivers in the same price range.Having said that though I have installed a couple of the TM6800 machines and apart from a couple of quirks in the tuning menu(adding transponders is awkward ), the tuners and HD/SD selection is very good.</blockquote>
