Hello and nice to meet you.
After purchasing a lot of 6903x we found out that blscan2 doesn't work.
Until now we have been using 6903 with blscan2 with great success(thanks @CrazyCat )
In general i prefer the Linux operating system. This was my only problem with blscan2 .
I would love to see crazycat's software running on Linux.
I am in the process of testing neumodvb vs blscan2 in order to choose how i will proceed.
I am trying to find out which is fastest and which is more accurate.
During my firsts tests ( at 16east) that i have performed i have seen something strange
blscan2 results
In other ranges(V and H) i haven't seen something like that until now.
I have scanned without getting any channels for the following transponders(contained only on stid135-blindscan's output, amongst other)
So.
1) I was reading in this forum that neumo-blindscan(i suppose stid135-blindscan too) is not as reliable as neumodvb. So, does this mean that i have to use a GUI in order to have better results ???
2) I feel very safe using blscan2. I was reading that neumodvb feels more 'beta' software and there are no real differences in the results of blscan2 and neumo.
3) Keeping in mind that 6903 is not manufactured anymore what do you propose ?
Thanks!
ps: I have ordered an 6909x in order to test its parallel feature.
