After impressing last season, BMW Sauber are hopeful that 2008 could be the year they score their first Grand Prix victory. During the 2007 championship the German-Swiss squad rose dramatically through the ranks, enjoying two podium finishes and scoring 101 points.Following McLaren's exclusion from the championship, the team eventually finished the year second in the standings, behind world champions Ferrari. With both Robert Kubica and Nick Heidfeld retained for next season, the team believes it may have paved the way for even greater success in the future.
