I have recently moved house and the new abode has a quad LNB with two cables running from it into the living room and a further cable running from the living room into a bedroom. My old setup was a dish with a single LNB connected to an ordinary Sky box. If I purchased a Sky+ box and connected up the two cables to it and used my existing Sky card, am I right in thinking provided the card and the new box are paired I would be able to view my six mix and Sport channels unhindered?
Can the third cable be connected somehow to the box so that a television can be connected in the bedroom to watch the second Sky channel without paying for multiroom?
Thanks

Yes, that's correct.

Connect up the cable between rooms to the RF2 port on the plus box. This will allow viewing of the same sky channel in the bedroom. Alternatively, run a third cable from the dish and connect to a freesat/sky receiver for independent viewing.

Thanks for your reply. The independent viewing option got me thinking and I decided to directly connect the second cable from the dish to the cable running from the living room to the bedroom. I will now start looking for a freesat receiver to attach to this cable. Thanks again.
