I'm looking for a plan speaking FAQ or backgrounder on CAMs and all the gubbins required to support them.
I understand the basics like:
What is a loader card? Am I right that there are a few channels that are free but I just need the correct decrypter? Etc.
Can anyone point me to a url or two, I have searched loads of technobable and dead links and it is still not clear.
The driver to this is that I'm looking to get more channels plus the odd adult one ;) . I currently have a Technomate TM-5500CI with a multi feed dish pointing at the Astras and hotbird. Any recomendations? Currently looking at a Premium card which seems good value.

- The CAM is the dycrypter, normally supports one type of encryption but there several many-in-one cards.
- In order to recieve a picture a subscription card is normally needed.
