I assured them that it was not working and they looked for the original owners address which I did not have but said I bought it s/h with a digibox from a satellite dealer. They said the only answer was to buy a new one for freesat so I politely said I will think about it.So is there any other way to activate/check it as it appears to be dead..P.S. My mate just bought a card  on fleabay and it works fine in his box and mine so the box is not the problem but the card which I would like to be able to revive!!</blockquote>
