Well it looks like he might be the next boss.... to be announced today i think.

there is a bit of a wrangle over the fact he wants to bring in his own director of football (Franco Baldini) who worked with him at Roma and Real Madrid helping to identify players and watching opposition teams.

but the FA are against this because thats Sir Trever Brooking job....

Im sorry, but clever trever has identified nothing special in years.... i say let the Capello have whoever he wants.

It can only be a good thing in Capello leading them. He is a winner, and therefore you do whatever it is that gets him the results. The FA are a disgrace though, it must be said.

exacly... whats the point of giving the job to a man who you think is a great manager... then tell him how to do his job.

i also like the fact that Capello has never worked in English football before, so he will pick players on merit instead of how famous they are.

its like starting fresh, that can only be a good thing... lets face it, it cant get much worse can it?

hes got a very good CV, so who do we blame if he fails??

his english is crap !. not a supporter of foreigners being england manager but lets hope he does well. He could not do a worse job.. being a avid fan of footie and watch a lot of it. i do feel we have too many non british players in top class football. reasons for this is many. saving money on youth training. etc etc. i would have prefered the" special one" myself Well he is special and i am shure he has a british passport

The FA should put a cap on English players, say 10million

Then teams would buy more english players.... because at the moment the trend is just the opposite

if a player abroad is on sale for 10 million, an english player of similar ability would cost 25 million!!!

its stupid, you cant blame people like Arsene Wenger for shopping abroad all the time.

Im i united fan, and if Michael Carrick was french, we have paid about 5 million instead of 18!!
