Now testing properly although with CCTV9 Documentary Test emblazoned over the screen. Some pretty landscapes on atm.

Tests are obviously intermittent atm.

CCTV9 Documentary now seems to have moved closer to launching. The test is running with nothing emblazoned across the screen, although theres no audio atm!!

I checked it an hour or so ago, and I had the audio OK (Chinese music) - but it had the usual info back on the screen!

Shame its got TEST across the middle of the screen!

Looks promising when it launches properly.

Yes, rather spoils the show that. Better to have it like other test channels, in the corner somewhere.

I've recommissoned one of my dishes to 9/10E from 1W now, rather than using the motorised one, so I can check the channel more often.

Looks like they have now full launched - on full programming and no TEST logo
