Channel Master 2.4 Metre dishes in the Canary Islands

Miller Rental, Tenerife are selling the 2.4 metre Channel Master dish for 2940 euros excluding delivery & installation. Is that a reasonable price or are there cheaper suppliers in the Canary Islands?

Does anyone know how much they cost in the UK?

That's a bit too high, i pay around 1800 euros for the 2.4m from Germany.

I got mine including installation for €3950 here in Gran Canaria so your price sounds pretty good.

The install has been a (continuing) saga however - I wish I had tackled it myself - even as a rank ametur I couldn't have made a bigger cock up!

There are a company called Electro sat in tenerife offering a 3 meters offset dish (full installation....dish, lnb, bracket etc) for arround 3700 €....

they garanty bbc1, bbc2, itv and channel 4 ....... 24 hours working fine

Thanks for info. One thing my research revealed was that the situation in the different Canary Islands is NOT the same.

Apparently in TF they can receive 2a North beam with 1.2 m dishes. Here in GC a 2.4 Channel Master or other (bigger) dish is a must and that beam is just as difficult as 2D to receive
