Not a Chelsea fan, as everyone knows, but I think Chelsea was robbed by the ref. I reckon 4 clear penalties were not given...but, it must be said, if they would have taken their chances better, then it would never come to that.

If Barcelona play as poorly as they did tonight then United will skin them alive. Unless maybe Barca are not as good as everyone thought, maybe winning in Spain and giving a very poor Bayern side a hiding made everyone think they are that much better...will be interesting.

I know that Drogba should have put that in,but that ref was very suspicious. Everybody agrees what a total w*nker he was even for the sending off but 4 penalty appeals turned down?
As Drogba said live on sky...A ****ing disgrace.

If you score more goals than the opposition the ref's decisions don't matter but when the decisions stop you scoring goals - that clear handball - makes you doubt the ref, to say the least. Either way, totally gutted.

If Barca play like that against Man U I can't see them winning.

That referee should never have had the semi final. That handball was one of the clearest penalties I've ever seen.
Chelsea got their tactics right, let Barca have posession but not let them have a shot at goal, and they did that until stoppage time.
I thought it was going to be another United Vs Chelsea final, which would have upset Platini.

I have a feeling that Platini will try to get Chelsea banned from next years Champions League.

That would hardly be a surprise. At the very least two of those were stonewall penalties (Pique handball and Yaya Toure on Drogba). I was doubtful before tonight, but now any sensible person has to question whether there is an anti-English agenda, I mean how could even a non-league ref miss all those penalties?

So I guess it will be a French ref for the final...I bet that after seeing this they will make sure United will get nothing in the final. In addition the police are going to beat the crap out of United's fans.
Maybe the breakaway European league was not such a bad idea. At least it would have been outside of that anti English Mafia grasp

The problem with a Euroleague is that we'd have to play someone else, and then someone would have to be in overall charge, and they would have to appoint the refs.

Obviously I want United to win, but I hope we destroy Barcelona now for Chelsea's sake as much as for ourselves. And then guess who be presenting the trophy....

As shown tonight it only takes some inept refereeing to alter a game, and what are the odds on Barcelona getting a penalty, in the final, or some dubious decisions going their way !!!!!!!
I should imagine most Chelsea fans would want United to beat Barcelona now !!!!!!

I wonder if the authorities have checked the ref's off-shore account for a recent sizeable deposit, as if

Does this anti English agenda also mean we will not win the Eurovision song contest either?:-Nooo

there was accusations of uefa not wanting two english teams in the final and drogba carrying on in front of the camera wont help matters either, sounded like he was saying its a f%^&* disgrace or something was amusing at the time.

i think something must have happened with the ref, as some of those decisions not given should have been in my opinion.

I just think he was incompetent and after the United penalty decision, and Fltchers sending off, I think he wanted to err on the side of the defenders, in any penalty decision.
You just know that the referee wont be questioned, over these non decisions, but that Chelsea will have a lot of explaining to do and possible ban from next years competition,
We can expect a ban for Drogba at least, and I hope that's all the action taken against Chelsea.

Well,Drogba DID say effing disgrace and when sky sports came back on after an ad break they accidently replayed it again and we heard it all, then the presenter started apologising. In the studio they were just short of accusing the ref of being bribed. It would make sense why they used a low profile ref from Norway, and told him not to let Chelsea win, who will take all the blame and the worst that will happen is he won't ref any European game again(not that he would want to).
As much as i hate Man U, I would like to see them win with some stunning football to show them that English football is entertaining. And we did them a favour now that 3 Barca defenders will not play in the Final. Go on you reds !

I think the referee may well have been a bit overwhelmed by the situation and maybe out of his depth but I cannot accept the conspiracy theory; Barcelona also suffered some dubious decisions and the sending off surely handed Chelsea a major advantage (at home, against 10 men!). The antics of a number of Chelsea players at the end was an absolute disgrace - what a dreadful example to set!

Listening to a radio presenter (ex rugby player) this morning he was advocating a lifetime ban for Drogba, I did not see all this as I don't have sky but it sounds like a complete shambles.

I think the last thing we need is to be spoken down to by egg chasers! The post-match antics of Drogba were unacceptable even under the circumstances, I'd expect that he'll be given at the very least a 3 match ban and substantial fine, and Chelsea will be fined for bringing the game into disrepute.

The conspiracy can't ever be proven, but the facts on the ground are that the ref was either incompotent or prone to 'psychological slavery'. People of suggested in the past that video replays should be used, but more assistant refs seems to me to be a far better option if their views are listened to by the ref. UEFA recent experimented with a goal are assistant at a youth tournament and claimed it was a success, why couldn't this be introduced from next season?

I will be rooting for Jade (no, not that Jade), as long as she doesn't start that Michael Bolton warble during the performance.
