Lnb unicable astra 19.2e

Hello everyone,

I have a 4-receiver unicable lnb in Astra 19.2E, with Scr-frequencies: 1210Mhz, 1420, 1680 and 2040mhz connected to a receiver with 4 tuners, a single cable connected to the first tuner, it works perfect. The fact is that I want to add another unicable LNB (of 4) pointing to the astra 28E (in the same antenna), I would need the frequencies of the SCR for this LNB2 to be different than those of the 1, do you know any LNB that has the frequencies of the scr different ? I have seen that the Inverto Unicable II programmable LNB exists but to program it I would need the programmer and I DO NOT want to buy it to use it only once, any solution?

To combine the two LNB's, would this combiner go to me?
Unicable II™ 2-way combiner, 5-2400MHz [/ url]

and if I want to do this configuration:
astra 19.2E with unicable LNB1 and astra 28 E with universal LNB2 What would I need to "combine" the 2 signals in a single cable ?, a diseqc, a combiner? to be able to select one LNB or another from the receiver.

Thanks and best regards

I have got an LNB in the shed that was designed for for the Turksat (42E) slot, but it must be about ten years old.

I always thought unicable was a short term fix on any satellite since they change parameters each time there is a new launch, or technology that comes along, compounding issues with any multi-satellite system installed, so I never bother with it myself.

That would be a very unusual setup, as far as I know.

I know that Unicable/JESS is designed to have the option to switch between LNBs, by 'addressing' the LNB you need. But this is normally done with the same UB/frequency.
I believe sometimes Unicable LNBs are sold as a 'pair', programmed just for this purpose. Does your receiver support multiple LNB selection for Unicable?

The splitter you linked is meant for combining receivers to one Unicable/JESS LNB, so it has diodes from receiver to LNB.
For your purpose, i.e. combining LNBs, no diodes are needed. So this one wouldn't work.

Edit: the diodes are the other way round here, according to the text of the link. Yes it would work.
Wouldn't need diodes in it, though, so I don't understand why they put them in it. Maybe just to not allow you to try to use the splitter at the receiver end, and cause functional problems or even damage...?

Supplying power to two Unicable LNBs with one receiver means a lot of current. So setups like these typically use a power inserter.

But I'm no expert at all about Unicable/JESS. Top of the bill is Jultec (they made the JESS protocol, and very energyefficient and reliable products). See their website.
