Hi . Can I convert extension panel of prime focus to offset multi feed dish?
And how can I do that?

Thanks

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

You could, but the amount of noise introduced into the system would probably negate the additional signal you are likely to receive.

What offset dish are you working on ?

Thanks for your kind answer.
So do you think it is useless because of noise.
About the offset dish it is normal offset with multi feed LNB's

You will have multiple issues increasing reflector size with that design of dish.

Put up a second dedicated system for the weaker channels, and motorise it.

I am not sure if the OP wishes to increase the size of an existing offset dish or if they wish to use the extension panels on their own and converted to offset dish design?
The picture in reply 4 might indicate that they wish to use the extension panels on their own but purposed into offset design?

Hi . Can I convert extension panel of prime focus to offset multi feed dish?

That has a couple of issues:

1. When you want to use normal (round) feedhorns, the effective dish surface for every satellite position would be less than a circle with the height of the dish(the plate)!

2. You'd have to find the proper focal point of the parabolic surface. The calculation is do-able.
From that, the "illumination angle" for the LNBs must be determined.
When you are lucky, that angle is about the same as that of readily available LNBf's or of feedhorns for other LNBs.
When you are not lucky, you'd have to find (or make) matching feedhorns. That could be difficult.

3. Though the form of the extension plates suggests a toroidal multifeed-form (parabolic vertically, and circular horizontally), these extension plates are in fact paraboloid. So you won't get the advantage of a special multifeed dish, that the off-center satellites are received at about the same gain as the center satellite.

So, how far apart satellites do you wish to receive? C-band, and/or Ku-band?
And from where? (Where is "ksa"?)
Can't you just as well use one or two normal (offset) dishes, and adapt them for multifeed reception?

Greetz,
