The current requirements of a normal 36V actuator (and the dish they are moving) would probably prevent it .

I have few DiSeqC linear actuators, but they are for small reflector systems only.

You can convert a DiSEqC receiver up to a 36V outdoor unit if your motor is still seviceable.

I have a few of them, they may be a different model though. Will check the board/chip firmware numbers tomorrow.

I thought ; then I don't have to pull or lay so much power cable to run the motor(s) of the dishes.

OpenBox X5 on a 1 meter motorized dish.
And now a 10 foot "C" band dish.

With a standard 36 volt linear motor for a satellite dish your still going to have to use one set of wires for the DC power and one set of wires for the control signals from any "V" box or control box your going to use.

Also your working with a DC voltage, the longer the run out to the dish for the power, the bigger the wire gauge needs to be, this to compensate for voltage loss or drop in the wire due to the amperage required by the motor. Use to thin a wire gauge and you may or will have problems.

Apologies for the delay in replying, this is the circuit board I have a few of.

I can post out at postal cost if they are of any use.

Excuses voor de vertraging bij het beantwoorden, dit is de printplaat waar ik er een paar van heb.

Ik kan verzenden tegen verzendkosten als ze van enig nut zijn.

I'll pull out the boxes later in the week and grade from good to not so good. I remember some had the connectors removed since they were used on other projects.
