Here we go again ..
The time of the great cosmic joke is once more upon us ..
lovely warm nights ..and clears skies a thing of the recent past ..
Cloud and cold westerlies abound ...and just in time too ..
As the Perseids are set to peak over the next two days ..
Higgs forbid we actually get to see the show ..and to make matters worse ...and additional twist in the form of a Supermoon ..
It being at its closest to Earth atm (perigee) ..so will likely disrupt any possible sightings between the holes in the clouds.
Still ..
I wish you guys luck ..as I've no doubt many will be suffering neckache like me.

No satellite stuff for the moment (aside from a 43cm minidish that was on the house already), Samsung SyncMaster T27B550 Smart TV & Monitor, and a few computers...

It's set to be clear tonight round here, all you need to avoid a sore neck is the front seat from a Honda Accord mounded on a wood frame, then just put it outside, roll it forward, recline and stare at the skies... :D

Check your local forecast then:

I've found that site to be pretty darned accurate to date, last year they were hopeless for UK weather, but now they're pretty good, better than auntie beeb's attempts... :D

Certainly was a bright moon last night. Some high cloud down here stopped any chance of seeing stars, let alone the shooting variety, though.
