Having had much grief with my digibox recently if feel I should shre the problem with you all to save someone else from suffering. My box kept kicking into standby and even turning it off at the mains (I put an inline switch in to make it ieasy) did not always bring ot back up again. I read all the forums (even Satcure despite it's less than subtle approach to customers!) and in particular I connected the dish to my non $ky box and got a perfecrtly good signal. It was therefore either the power supply, the processor, or the tuner!! Not prepared to risk the consequences of it going off during ER or Friends I reluctantly called the man out. A charming elderly (same as me) gentleman from Crewe duly arrived, pligged his meter in and agreed that there was a signal. He plugged in his own box and that did not work either. He swapped out the LNB and everything now works fine. Proving that one should never jump to conclusions and those who do it for a living do it better than I do. Only snag was that the viewing card seemed to have lost some info and $ky it after I had plugged the phone back in. Of it need a new card however the card gets switched off from the time of ordering until a new one is received. Thats technology folks!! Meldrew
