I bought several "smart" diseqc switches which claim to be positioner emulators(ie diseqc 1.2). Could be very useful gear, eg no need for receiver with 1.1 support.
Any success with those?
I had none. Tested with Samsung TV, spacetronik(emp-centauri?) and terra/dvidas(amiko clone) switches.
TV either remembered only the last stored satellite, or behaved in erratic way, eg restored satellite on the first boot, but next boot it restored port 1 only.
