Hi Terry, Although the weather has been excellent today, Scotland won their 2nd game in the Rugby World Cup this morning, so I have decided that dish reconfiguration is out of the window today. I did make a bonus purchase on the way (by legs) to the local Beer Shop. New neighbours had an old 1m with 2x Lnbs, which they had removed from their new house and left in their front garden. An offer of £20 was accepted, so I'm going back to collect it tomorrow. A fair price I believe, but just in case anyone in the Hayes/W-London area wants it back, they better speak with the new owners of the property. But back to the switches question. As its not a show stopper, I'll just plod on with the (Reciever - Motor - 4 way-Switch - Lnb) setup for now. cheers csb PS http://www.satellites.co.uk/forums/dish-setup-single-sat-multi-sat-motorised-systems/192336-diseqc-switching-between-fixed-motorised.html I just found this (Bun Fight) that seems to give me more questions than answers. In summary, If you want "like I do" to add a single motor to a fixed dish. It works both ways: REC-MOTOR-SWITCH-LNB's or REC-SWITCH-MOTOR-LNB. But if you want to ADD up to 4 motors/single-lnb's to a basic system, then you have to go REC- SWITCH-MOTOR's-LNB Is it that simple ? (apart from the diseqc/sat-selection/lnb/configuration) Or am I just a caveman staring at a wheel for the first time ?
