My receiver show DiSEqC A and my switch shows DiSEqC 1. Is there any problem working together...

Don't think so mate, but it would pay to name your receiver in your signature strip, to be sure.

My Satellite Setup
RX: 3 motorized DiSEqC-1.2 dishes (100cm, 110cm, 120cm) + 7 regular dishes.
Main receiver: Vu+ Duo + many others & IRD
TX: Modulators for DVB-S/C/T + Dektec Modulators
Field Meter: Emitor, KWS, Kathrein, Unaohm, Promax, Spaun, Rover Instruments, ...
My Location
Portugal
Different receiver have different naming convention:

For DiSEqC-1.0:

Official naming convention:
A-A
A-B
B-A
B-B

Non-Official naming conventions:
1
2
3
4

or

A
B
C
D

Do not mix up DiSEqC-1.0, 1.1, 1.2 and 2.0:

1.0: allows switching between up to 4 inputs
1.1/2.0: allows the usage of cascading switches with up to 16 inputs (or even more)
1.2: allows the use of rotor's

Cheers,
vma

Don't you mean 1.1/2.1 for cascading switches?

You are right.

Actually it is like this:

1.0 -> simple commutation of up to 4 LNB's
1.1 -> complex commutation using cascading switches

2.0 -> simple commutation of up to 4 LNB's AND RETURN PATH
2.1 -> complex commutation using cascading switches AND RETURN PATH

With "Return Path" I mean a bi-directional communication, i.e. the switch can send a status information back to the receiver. I have never come across 2.0/2.1 compatible switches or receivers, so I lack further knowledge about that.

Anyway, the complete DiSEqC-Spec's can be found here: _http://www.eutelsat.com/satellites/pdf/Diseqc/Reference%20docs/bus_spec.pdf

Cheers,

Here's an example of a 2.1 ( and 1.1) switch
